About Us
Jakarta Mermaid School is the first licensed swimming mermaid school in Indonesia. We are here to certify people who want to become a mermaid or a merman. We offer a swimming mermaid program with training and courses. Our courses are designed to provide fun in a safe way.
Jakarta Mermaid School
Our mermaid instructors are certified divers and freedivers who have been working professionally as a mermaid in Jakarta Aquarium Indonesia and have represented Indonesia in international competitions both in mermaid and freediving. Our team has accumulated experience in underwater activities of more than 30 years.
The school office is located in West Jakarta. There are 4 venues for our courses and training:
Grove Suites by Grand Aston

Posto Dormire Hotel.
Our basic training is usually held in the pool at Posto Dormire Hotel. The pool is very unique and very attractive for pictures. It is easy to train for new students who are at beginner level.

GBK Senayan Aquatic Centre
The 5 meter dive pool is where the Advanced courses are held and where all the Jakarta Mermaid School members train every Wednesday. The pool entry fee is 100.000 IDR per mermaid.

Mermaid Search
2022
The Mermaid Search is a mermaid underwater model competition for the mermaids. This event allows the mermaid to express their freediving and mermaid skill.
The participants will have to be in the water posing one of our signature poses, photographed with our professional underwater photographer. The participant will attempt the poses in a limited time. The best pose that is close to our signature pose will win the big prize.
